Another Fun-filled Lake Weekend

We had another great weekend at the lake last weekend! It started out a little rough with a tremendous hailstorm and some minor damage to the house. The closet under the stairs is full of toys, so Asher was perfectly content to ride it out there while Daddy ran around assessing and video taping.
We also celebrated Father's Day with my Dad a week early so we could have some extended time together. Thanks, Dad, for being such a great Father and Pappy!! We love you.

Mommy's Little Helper

As I was cleaning tiny fingerprints off the stainless yesterday, Asher kept grabbing the rag from me so I decided I better give him his own without cleaner on it. He followed right behind me polishing away!

Share & Share Alike

Asher has absolutely no problem sharing his food with Lucy. In fact, he tends to be too generous! Recently, he has decided that it is only fair for Lucy to share her food in return. Here he is helping himself. Lucy is so patient!

Recent Firsts

Asher's first time in the lake water didn't go over so well, but I think he will get used to it, especially as the water warms up. He did eventually splash some after seeing how funny it was when Daddy splashed Mommy!

Asher's first oreo was a definite hit! Yum! We may regret starting him on a double-stuffed, but the extra filling makes it easier to chew.

Asher's first walk out to his new playset. He had a great time! Now we just need to get rid of those pesky mosquitoes and we'll be in business.

A Beautiful Day

The weather has been perfect today! After a backyard Chick-fil-A picnic, Asher had some fun on the half-assembled playset. It should be finished Friday and we can't wait.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!

Asher attended his first baseball game on Memorial Day to watch the Rangers play the Yankees. We were fortunate to be invited to a suite, which was perfect for him to move around and take breaks from the heat. It was a great day!

May Update

Asher is getting so big! We are having so much fun with him and trying to savor every minute. He is walking every where and doesn't even bother to crawl now. He loves to be outside, so we can't wait for our new playset to be installed this week. He is starting to accumulate quite the little vocabulary, including 'Dada', 'Bye-bye', 'Go' (which he yells every time the car stops) 'Uh-oh' and a few others which only he knows. 'Mama' only comes out when he is desperate. Here are a few recent pictures.
